What is Modeling and Simulation?
The field of Transportation, Warehousing and Distribution (TWD) is a non-stop process, happening around the world, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. TWD involves the receiving, storing, shipping and transportation of goods. This demanding career field is supported by people who work in logistics, transportation, inventory, warehousing, and material handling, packaging and distribution. According to the Bureau of Labor, this high growth industry projects an increase in employment through 2012. Entry-level positions provide a clear pathway for many TWD workers to climb the career ladder into management and supervisory positions.
